Ginger Chicken Handi is a tomato paste based curry spiced with Green n Red chilies & Ginger n Garlic. A very simple chicken dish to prepare within few minutes.

Ginger Chicken

Ingredients:

  • Oil 1/2 cup
    -Chicken:
  • Chicken 1 kg
    Veggies:
  • Tomatoes 4
  • Ginger and garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Ginger fingers slices
  • Green chili x4
    Sauces:
  • Soy-sauce 2 tbsp
  • Vinegar 2 tbsp
    Spices:
  • Salt
  • Sugar 1/2 Tsp
  • Crushed red chili 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds 1 tbsp

Recipe:

  • Marinate the chicken with Vinegar, sugar n Soya Sauce set aside for 30 mins approx. before frying.
  • Now fry it in a Kadhai(Kadhai), till chicken turns white.
  • In a cooking pan, add tomatoes with ginger garlic paste along with salt, turmeric powder & red chili.
  • Now put the chicken into the cooking pan and roast it for 5-7 mins approximately.
  • Adding cumin seeds, ginger slices, black pepper & green chilies to cook on low heat with covered lid for 10 mins approx.
  • Garnish with Coriander leaves & dish is ready to serve.ginger
